1. Go to the special page Special:QueryInterface or if you are using the WYSIWYG editor, click on the Query interface button in the WYSIWYG toolbar -this button has a small question mark and a small arrow and is located on the lower right section of the WYSIWYG editor toolbar.
2. Click on the Add Category menu
3. Specify your category by entering its name in the text input box.
4. Press the Add another category (OR) link if you wish to add another category with a disjunction (OR).
5. Press the Add button to add this category or press the Cancel link to exit the category menu without adding the category to your query.

Note: Having done this, only the articles (instances) of this category will be displayed in the query results.
