Links in MediaWiki are classified in four types:
1. Internal Links are links to other wiki pages.
For example if you enter, [[Main Page]] you will get Main Page.
2. External Links are links to pages in other websites.
For Example: If you enter an external link with a different label i.e:
[http://mediawiki.org MediaWiki] , you will get :MediaWiki
3. Interwiki Links are links to other websites that are registered to the wiki in advance.
4. Interlanguage Links are links to other websites registered as other wiki language versions.
To add an internal link, enclose the name of the page you want to link to in double square brackets.
When you save the page, you'll see the new link pointing to your page.
- If the page already exists it will be displayed in blue.
- Empty pages are displayed in red.
Selflinks to the current page are not transformed in URLs, they are displayed in bold.
