The Query Interface lets you use inline queries to retrieve specific semantic data in your wiki. It formulates the queries for you such that you do not have to master the #ask syntax which is eventually used to make these queries.
The query interface now helps you to exploit the full power of Semantic MediaWiki's query mechanism. It provides a graphical user interface that supports you in building semantic queries in an intuitive manner.
It was created with the view of giving the less experienced users a methodology of using queries without having to learn the rather complex #ask syntax.
This was done by integrating a query interface into SMWHalo/SMW+ and it allows users to make queries easily.
The query interface is a special page and can therefore be accessed on the page Special:QueryInterface, which is linked from Special:Specialpages.
