To delete an existing group you should:
1. Go to the specialpage Special:HaloACL.
2. Click Manage groups Tab.
3. Simply click on the check boxes accordingly and choose the groups that you wish to delete.
4. Go on to click Delete selected button thereby deleting the groups.
